Unhappy high mileage mondeo mk3

hi guys,
Im wanting a cheap family car and am looking around for a mk3 mondeo 1.8 / 2.0ltr hatchback. Im only wanting to spent around the £1200 mark which seems to get you a tidy 2000 / 2001 model. My question is are these cars good for high milage??
Most vehicles around this age seem to have well over 120,000 to 140,000 miles on clock
is this an issue when buying a second hand mondeo mk3??

to right duel mass flywheels are work of the devil ive done a fair few solid flywheel conversions on the focus / mondeo due to the costs involved with the dmf
