Default General MOT Question

Hi

Does anyone know if you can pass an MOT if one of your gears is missing?

4th has died on my XR4x4 - I have a spare box but will it have to be fitted before my looming MOT date?

Cheers

Cheers Guys

Yeah it does not leak and drives fine - just have to remember 4th does not exist any more

It's not my daily drive so it's just another job on a very long list

Cheers

As long as we don't have to push it in or out we don't care!

As above, with a 4x4 it will need a on road brake test but the test will be carried out at 20mph.
