with the mk 3 days away from going to paint ,

looking to start sorting the external parts for the old girl ,

prob going with new glass ( green tint )

but thinking of going with a lightly smoked tint on them to inkeep with the grey/black theme ,

not a fan of tints personally. if you do, make sure they are still see through so the quality workmanship can still be seen..ps, have you organised the glass yet? if not im sure i can sort you out with cheap prices

i think a light tint will go well with the theme but don't go dark. i hate dark tints! pluss if there too dark you might not be alowed on track as the marshalls like to see in.

I've got dark smoke on mine, it's quite dark you can't see in. Looks alright on black cars but if you've got a light colour then I would have a light smoke. I've tinted a few cars now, getting quite good at it lol

light smoke would look the best for subtle but tinted

Light would look good, but to hide the workmanship within would be criminal

Noooo mate, its not a question of yay or nay, just gay!

it looks good on some cars like the st above just not on a mk3/mk4! especially after all the work you've put in making the inside look so oem.

Nothing worse than some one smudging their face up against it at a show to see in the back. Factory fresh with some decent wheels and your chosen colour and it will look the billy bollocks.

Hope its all going good with the car any way mate

Rob,
totally agree! had tints on mine when i brought the car, was an all round light tint but just ended up taking all the tints off! keep your s1 factory!

I would say a subtle tint would suit the colour of the car nicely, but definately not dark tint

i think the very lightest of tints would look good, but anything to dark just wouldn't be good.

with all the work you have put in you want people to be able to see in.

for the little un you could always get

lol
