Some people love them some people hate them.

When I went alarm shopping even a Clifford dealer told me the alarm was shit and reccomended and alarm that was £150 cheaper.

I don't personally know of 1 person with or that has had a Clifford without problems

I know many peole with Cliffords and have no problems with them..

Its all down to the person installing the system.. if it takes half hour then its gunna be shite

When a Clifford dealer tells me they are shite alarms as well as more than one other alarm fitter there IS something wrong. IMHO

Ive seen Clifford systems that had cost anthing up to a grand - ripped out and slung in the bin. Wouldnt have one at any price - nevermind what they actually go for.

For those who rate them, I would be interested to know if they are fitted to cars used everyday or sit in cosy garages wating for a sunny afternoon?

I'm told its wet/damp conditions that screw cliffords up in no time atall.

maybe because he was getting "something extra" for selling that make of alarm.
when i worked in a sports shop it was what company was offering incentives as to what trainers were best

correctamundo

they also make 'Avital' alarms, i had one on my van & one on the merc,
no frills to them, but very good, no problems in over 2 years.

the problem with cliffords is that most fitters dont fit them properly,
ie, lack of resistors etc.....
