Default Ford racing boost gauge (old style)

Right chaps have just purchased a couple of brand new old style ford racing gauges, boost & oil pressure but the needles aren't on zero for some reason does anyone know how to get the needle back to where it should be?? any help is much appreciated.

I think it means they need re-calibrating... Altho i don't know if all gauges can be re-calibrated, so they could be fubar...

They are brand new so cant be fubar!!!!!

Not all gauges sit at zero when not in use (electric not mechanical), have you actually tried them?

Not yet mate just bought them off ebay and the pics show the needle on the oil press gauge right at the bottom and the boost gauge is at about 3-4 psi but both are brand new been stored.

Just to correct myself... What I said above doesnt apply to the boost gauge, that should sit at 0 as it will be reading atmospheric pressure even if it's not connected.

Boost gauge is reading 3-4 psi without being connected
