Default Datapost rims ??

Does any one know what off set and width they are as iam thinking of getting some 17" mo / or other motor sport rims to replace the split rims.
2 are wider than the other 2, are they 9 x 16 and 8 x 16 ? its just that the car is in a lockup and i can not get to it very easy.

cheers dunc

Hi,

I have a set of the Datapost wheels and IIRC when I measured the offset, they was about 17mm. I will have to check again to be certain.

The wheels I have are 7 x 16 but won't fit my car as they are wrong offset. I have managed to get them to 22mm offsets but they are still not right for my car....

I was after a wider set to strip down and mix and match to get the right offset if you know of some available.

Apparently my set are the narrower of a few sets.

Do you want me to measure the offsets again just to confirm? Dunno if the front are a different offset to the rears you see....

The deeper dish wheels are the front wheels. When I tried them on my car, the depper wheels seemed to have more clearance for the brakes.

I have also studied the Datapost car. It has the deeper ones on the front.

If you do decide to change the wheels, would you be interested in selling?

I will get measure the offsets over the weekend and let you know.

yes mate i would sell them, i love the look of them but 17" mo with slicks would be better for me as i cant seam to get the right size 16" slicks second hand and also new ones seam hard to get hold off and are alot of money.
