as you can see pictured its on a full wrc spec block, lightened with rear oil feed and remote filter set up etc

nikasil linered with ten studs

cp pistons on h section rods, with a larger bore and stroke to take the capacity up to 2.2L

Nick Waples head ported head, with standard sized valves, double valve springs, solid lifters, and scs spec camshafts with rear cam trigger mod

garrett ball bearing turbo to scs spec with 44mm external wastegate and stainless steel exhaust manifold

inlet side is on our new spec inlet manifold with 8 grey injectors

and thats about all really folks any questions ask steve or im sure steve wont mind you asking me? if i can help at all!

Most people probably want it mate, but a few more grand they could pick up a cheap MK2 Focus RS. No doubt the parts and quality speak for themselves, but its dire times, everyones skint; hence why you're selling too, needing funds aye.

the reason for the sale of my car is down to my wife not keeping to good dude, any track days held here in northern ireland are all on sundays, i work 6days per week so the only spare time i have is a sunday and i think its more important to spend my spare time all at home now.

if and when my wifes feeling better i plan to rally ( grpn tarmac spec evo9)

yes the shell is sold, all parts are sold so not every one is skint out there .

this engine is a full race engine and i do no its limited to the amount of people out there that will be looking something of this spec. but every thing always sells just takes time. i will let it sit til it makes the money i am lookin for.

No doubt it will sell, but like you say it takes time unfortunately. Cars come and go I suppose, so there's always something you can continue in future as and when family commitments and first hand responsibilities allow.

Rallying is deffo the way to go over your neck of the woods Steven, i love watching the irish rallying on tv, i presume the irish petrol heads are very serious about it, well they seem to be.

 

rallying is big over here mate but with the down turn in work lots have pulled the plug on it in the past 2 years, theres lots of real good evo 8 and evo9 turning up for cheep money, domanic thats built my escort is building 2 evos at the moment, hes said i can use 1 of them any time i like to see how it goes for me before i step out and buy one of my own, if i buy one i think i would go for a good internationl spec grpn with the big brembo brake kit ect

half the money from my escort should well buy one, i will get domanic to look after the car for me.
