Default S2 Rear load compensators

Can somebody tell me where I can buy rear compensators for a 1990 s2 rs turbo. Main dealer in Ireland are looking for 240 euro each ( not happening ). Have tried Burton power they dont have them, Europarts in Tyrone only have the lhs (100 pound) Finis code 6167298 lhs and 6167299 rhs.

Also front hub metal dust seals both sides, these are on the inside of the hub. Finis code 1591847.

Would be grateful of any info.

Shane

Eagles before you try finding some to fit, maybe do some research into why all the people have there ones for sale.

Its all about taking them off, not putting them on.

Ford don't keep the dust covers any more, i just resprayed mine (weren't too bad!), i've also chucked my rear compensator's, but tbh if you are standard ride height etc and they are working they do the job fine.

Rob,
They are working fine just that the springs dont look too good ( Rusty ).
Not standard height I have Koni top adj shocks and lowering springs.
As for the dust covers 1 is bad and the other is worse !

lol, thats a shit.

I would rebuild the compensator's if you want to keep them. get the body and spring sandblasted, paint the slave cylinder looking part, powdercoat the other parts and get the spring zinc plated. You could do all of that for well under Ł50 the pair and they would look better than new.

OR

Fit inline compensators

OR

Redo the brake lines, remove the ABS and fit a willwood bias valve.
