easiest way to tell the difference is that all T3s, no matter what "stage" hybrid they are are still the pissy small T3 compressor housing, a T34 has a far bigger one.
A T34 should have the cossie 3stud exhaust housing outlet too with either .48 or .63 a/r stamped on it rahter than the RST style outlet that needs that stoopid elbow

Std - 270 bearing 55 trim compressor std ex housing
St1 - as above plus 360
st2 - as above but using 60 trim compressor
st3 as above (60 trim,360) plus .48 housing
Thats commonly the stages for rst but each supplier differs on specs for each stage

I bought a stage2 hybrid from turbo technics but want something more meaty now as i'm doing a 2.1l 16v turbo conversion on my S2, can i upgrade it easily or should i just sell it and get something else
