just got my series 1 back from power engineering, had it setup and that,1st time!! (done a great job to be fare, will be going back,) now the car is running 164bhp, now i thought the ecu hadnt been chipped or can you get this figure without a chip????

It may Wel do, was that flywheel or at the wheels bhp?? Wots ur engine spec?

My Rs turbo van made 166bhp@ wheels at only 10psi of boost which ain't far off standard boost

 

thats flywheel mate,its boosting at 15psi, pretty much standard apart from exhurst airfilter really. was ur van chipped?

 

im sure it would be chipped if you at 15psi as standard ecu would boost cut above 7 or something but i could be wrong

Yeah, van is chipped as said above if ecu wasn't chipped it would cut ignition at anymore that 7psi so urs must be chipped...

I think the standard chip allows up to 10psi

 

Standard chip is 10 psi and the hearts and diamonds is 10.5, mine made 155 on the standard chip. Standard cooler holds 170 brake max tho.
