Hi all i have a problem im hoping you can help me with i seem to have lost the bolt inserts for the roll bar the ones that go through chassis are they still available from fords and if so does anyone have a finnis code.If not where else can i get a pair? any help would be awsome thanks guys.

 

Are you talking about the rear roll bar?

If so I need Diameter inner and outer and lengh and I could make some for you.

They are NLA from Ford. They are also slightly tapered on the outside diameter where they go through the chassis so as to fit inside the box-section correctly.

You can technically just use a piece of straight hollow bar, but I have not done it this way myself.

 

Oh poo just my luck unsure what to do now im not that far into it yet so will have to think about this one but thanks for the help.(maybe try to get some from a scrap shell)

 

Machining a pair up is not a problem for me taper or no taper. Could do with one to copy so I may have to take one off my car. Give me a day and I will see what I can do.
