i,ve decided its time to sell my 2wd saph cosworth which is a ex gold cup winning car in modified concourse and won multiple trophys over the years so the car also has many 4x4 parts fitted .

its only for sale as i,ve done everything i wanted to the car and feel the only thing to do now is up the power which i,m not wanting to do so its up for sale as i fancy a change to either an escort cosworth or 3 door so going to test the water and see what happens

the car used to get trailered everywhere and has only covered 4000 miles in the last 10 years and 1000 of this i,ve done attending shows

it was registered in 1989 on a F plate by alexanders of edinburgh and has its dealer number plates , sticker and tax disc holder .

the mileage is 87600 miles with every mot to back up , it also has a box full of reciepts

its mot,d for a full year , taxed for 5 months

The car drives absolutly spot on and holds the road so well also even with the 18,s it has no rubbing at all end with a good few passengers



ENGINE
The car starts first time everytime and runs spot with no knocks , rattles smoke etc...
Only had a full service including timing belt and tensioner etc... 600 miles ago
Only got slight power upgrades running a stage 1 chip boosting at 15 psi
Its also fitted with an uprated actuator , mongoose exhaust and 500 cooler


TRANSMISSION
2wd gearbox and diff are 100% spot on and in perfect working order with absolutly no wines or crunches when selection ANY gears perfect both on and off boost
Also running an uprated clutch

SUSPENSION
The cars fitted with avo adjustables all rounf again still look like new

BRAKES
fronts are AP RACING 6 pot calipers and 362 floating discs
rear are drilled and grooved discs

WHEELS
Fitted with 18 inch comp MO,s in white which are as new
with 215/35/18 falkens all round again like new

OR can come with 18 inch dare multispokes with 215/35/18 at a reduced price

ENGINE BAY
fitted with blue samco hoses
the rocker cover is powder coated blue
alot of chrome including baileys expansion tank , power steering resevior etc

BODYWORK
The bodywork is completely rust free and its 100% solid
All the panel are original (except 4x4 bonnet again for modified concourse)
All the rubbers are perfect and straight wing no bubbling at all

UNDERSIDE
The underside of the car is also painted diamond white
with every component underneath like suspnsion , roll bars , shafts , gearbox , diff , tank etc..... there all either powdercoated or painted (see pics)

INTERIOR
fitted with the later style 4x4 dash (again was for modified concourse to be different)
fitted with leather with no wear at all
all door cards are perfect with no rips or shrinkages and no wear etc...
Fitted with sony cassette player with 10 disc cd multidisk changer

SECURITY
The car is fitted with 2 Cat 1 insurance approved alarms and immobilizer so is well secure

BAD POINTS

hard to actually think of any but imo
the wheels are maybe abit to bright as painted frozen white so maybe to bright for the car
the speedo unit has white dials again for modified concourse but not to my taste
thats it , apart from that cant fault the car as everything works

Exactly what i thought. A concourse car for about Ł8k - that's got to be a bargain, i would have thought it should have had another Ł2-3k on top.
