EBC yellowstuff pads, and grooved/dimpled discs for the front, I would concentrate the money on the front, if that's all you can get for £300, but this should I would imagine get you yellowstuff front and rear with grooved/dimpled discs, your best VFM improvement will come from the pads, then the discs, if only grooved that is ok, if only dimpled that is also ok, these sharp edges serve to keep the pad surface clean of glaze by constantly de glazing on every brake press, if money left over get some braided lines.

I'd go Ferodo DS2500 pads up front, standard Fords will be ok on rears, then a decent make of discs, Tarox grooved or the likes. As Tabs says, braided lines and full fluid change if you've cash spare.

The DS 2500 is so I'm told by others a good pad, I think pads and brake feel are a very personal thing, you may love them, you may love another make.
I currently have a set of unused DS2500 pads for Tarox B32-6 calipers, I get ferodo free, but instead have bought EBC Yellowstuff.
Don't get me wrong the DS 2500 isn't a bad pad by any means, once up to temp, and if you like zero feel through the pedal, but there are better imo, ds is streets ahead of std pads though, except cold performance.

I found the DS2500 to be good at all heats? But as you say its personal preference, i've used mintex 1144s and 1155s and hated them lol.

cheeRS guys ordered up full set of yellowstuff pads allround straight from ebc direct and also got a full set of braided hoses and fluid. Is there much difference in the ebc turbo grooved dimpled discs or the ultimax sport ones as they are both the same price?
