Right my steering racks nackered. Has been for a while, is getting replaced next week with abit of luck

But my car has developed another noise and wondering whats the chances of it being steering related?

Basically when I've stopped on the foot brake while turning and I let go of the brakes again I get a Crack or a Crunch from the front somewhere?

So say I'm going around a tight bend, my foots on the brake as I go round the bend, if I let go of the brakes while I'm still going out the bend I get a crunch?
But only get it when I take my foot of the brake?

Starting to suspect my top mounts etc?

I'l give it to the mechanic monday, tell him all the faults and get him to sort it all out but would like to know if anyone has a clue what it might be?

Bailes?
