Default Maybe selling my 330d, help with price

I might have to reluctantly sell my BMW E46 330d but im having trouble pricing it. There seems to be a few BMW fans on here so hopefully you can help.

Its a 2001 X BMW E46 330d SE with a very low genuine mileage of 47k miles!! FSH, Its pre facelift with cloth interior, usual bits like parking sensors, 17" BMW Alloys etc etc. Its a very clean car.

I have looked on autotrader and pistonheads etc but I cant find that sort of year with such low mileage.

Any ideas???

Pity it's not an estate or you could name you're price!

As a guide I would look at cars a year or two newer with 15-20,000 miles more...

just bought a y 2001 330d touring se, cloth manual but with 130k on it paid £2995.
looked at a topaz blue one on a 51 plate with 74k on it and was priced at £4995.
so i would say upwards of the second figure but bear in mind that the 330d sport will be available from about 6000 ish so wouldnt be up that high?

I reckon £4k is closer to the mark. Poor spec and the very first model. Not desirable at all.

I do hope not, I wouldnt really want to part with it for £4000, its a brilliant car with very low mileage.
Spec wise its only lacking on the leather.

hence why my original estimate was 5k if you try and hold out.

There are loads of 330ds for sale so a wide choice to choose from. the only real bargaining point you have about your car is the low mileage - im sure someone looking for a low miler will come and have a look but someone looking at budget and extras will more than likely view a newer car with more miles but more extras for the same money

the really deseriable models are the 330d sport with the leather interiors and 18 inch wheels, yours will be desirable due to the low mileage, but it is quite a low spec and being a x-plate i would expect to get much interest at more than £4500

Im not sure about prices as i dont work in sales i would imagine they arent worth that much the older ones esp with the prices of the facelift e46's falling.
