Queer rear lol, dont worrie im getting smoked lights, just not yet, ive got a chrome stick to go round the bumper as the old black one didnt look too good, i know i know the header tank is a bit nasty and ugly, ive seen a nice chromed one on ebay so i'll have that one soon enough, i was going to get some new lead's but not sure what the best make to get ? ive been laughing my head of at some of these comments, you lot are crazy, rab had me laughing the most though with his comment, im sure the coppa's would pull me with that reg plate mate, ive just stuck the good old Ford badge on my bonnet today looks a bit nicer.
Hey i wounder if any of you could help me, ive been having a bit of a problem, normally i put my key in the imobilizer, then i put my other key in the ignition and turn it and hear a noise, i think it's the fuel pump ! well anyways i cant hear that noise anymore and cant start my car, the petrol reading doesnt go up either, so im pretty sure its something to do with fuel not getting pushed through, i know there's petrol in the car, there's just under half a tank cause i never let the car run dry, any idea's of whats causing this problem or should i just take it to a garage ? thanks you lot

This happened to me on my 3rd day of RS Trouble ownership. It was the fuel pump relay, had gone. It's (if I remember right) the big yellow fucker.

Shouldn't cost mcuh to fix. About £5. Even if you took it to the garage, it's be £20 tops!

all the relays seem to be spot on, guess its the fuel pump after all, does anybody know if i can use a fuel pump from a newer mk escort ? i know the xr3i's and rs1600i are the same but there hard to get a hold of

 

Saw this car in the flesh on Sunday night purely by accident! Was mental, leaving my hotel where me and the bird we staying while I did my course in South Sheilds. And sitting in the car park was this! Madness.

Car is well clean though! Looks tough

 

the newer escort uses an in tank fuel pump so you will have to use either a mk4 or sierra 2.8 pump as these are the same

hav'nt been on here for a while but thought i would stick some new pictures up for whome ever is interested, since i was last on, i have bought some chromed strut tops, sprayed the rocker cover, polished the charge carrier and sprayed the throttle holder.
Yes i got rid of the 88 spec spoiler and bought i 90 spec which is fitted, i also got rid of the clear rear back lights and got the good old standard, also got the car HPI and clear came through, next target is some blue plug leads and the black insert on the bumpers.
The car is up for sale aswell if anybody is interested £2,600ono

Running fine fella, long time no speak, going to find out whos the best person in the north east for tuning cars and take her for a little tweek and see if everything is all cool, i got £50 and them standard lights for the clear ones, as for the little clip i couldnt get my hands on one so soldered them and sealed it with wax so no water of damp can get anywhere near it.

Yup , ive just gotten a new tyre fitted on the front passenger side and when i drive the car is pulling to the left, looks like my tracking might be out, also i need my wheel bearing done .
