Not been out of the thing all weekend spent over £100 on fuel

Where did you get it from? The plate on the xr2 looks familiar as I had a fiesta with XNE at the end. Sure it used to be mum and dads neighbours, that would have been about 15 years ago.

 

Just got it off my mate, hes only had it a few months, he got it from chapel it had been stood for a bit and a load of bits robbed off it, so i helped him get it together now iv ended up with it, the lad who had it in chapel is now in prison.

Not necessarily, the cossie had been an ongoing project and i just lost interest in it really after been sat in a bodyshop not touched in pretty much bare metal for over 7 months, so swapped the rolling shell minus various other bits i sold off it for this, so i now have a car i can use over the summer and go to shows in, and still have my cossie engine and box for sale.

 

As far as i know internals are standard, exhaust, air filter, chip, new turbo with 360 bearing, bleed valve set so not running lean,
The engine is silent as a mouse and goes like stink for pretty much standard, cant actually believe how well it goes still pulls well at 100mph

 

Always had a soft spot for series 1's had 2 in the past and I wouldn't bet against making it 3 in the future.

Feels mint mate just to be out n about in 1 again, got shed loads of spares so been replacing some not so good bits with mint ones
