guy's what colour is a new throttle cable from ford the reason i ask is i have started to tidy up my engine bay with a blue rocker cover blue samco's shiney tanks and rad etc and now theres a fooking red throttle cable running through it

Pretty sure thy're black, BUT you can colour your own cable for peanuts if wanted, easy to do with scissors and a hair dryer!!
HEAT SHRINK is your friend, this is what I've used on various things, my dads caravan handles that were rusting, my bonnet stay etc etc etc, it's so useful and cheap, especially on www.dealextreme.com
Comes in all sizes all colors can be adhesive lined or not as you want, I use adhesive lined on lecky connections.
