Ive built an xr2 turbo and im runnig a standard bore single silencer exhaust system! will i still be able to run 18psi and how much brake does a stainless system give you? im only running the standard bore pipe for noise reasons its my new track toy!

 

Ive done s similar kinda thing, just used the standard downpipe and centre section, then used jettex parts, one silencer and bends, sounds well, i think most exhausts give you around 2-6 bhp on a std motor and on somthing running 18psi should give around 8 maybe? correct me if im wrong?

 

on a escort rs turbo the exhaust system is of a bigger bore than say a 1.3l exhaust.
must be for a reason.
if i was you i would get a exhaust made from 2.5"steel or stainless steel from downpipe.
thats just my opinion.
