hey guys a mate rang me today for abit of info and said he's just been to look at a D plate series one turbo he wants to no how many were made on the D plate anyone no if there special or if they even made them on a D plate, any help would be fantastic, cheers nick

 

i think their is about 20/30 on a d plate ,they are sought after due to the number registered

 

yes they made them on d plates
ive read somewhere they are rare
dont think there is many about anymore

Less were registered on a D plate so are rarer but not worth any more money IMO. I'm sure there was an ex press car that was registered on an E plate too

 

There is only a handfull of D plate ones left under 20 iirc. RSShawn from the S1 forum has one of them.

Imo they are no more sought after than a B or C plate car in the same condition.

 

Think theres about 25 or so left, dunno why but id love a D plate LOL

 

S1's lookk strange on a D imo, gotta be a C

 

I would recamend taking someone that can tell the difference between a genuine s1 and mk4 facelift model mate

Of these around 25 are still about in some form, either under restoration or road-going.
