Default Ecu cover....

On my 4x4 saff it has the hole where the ecu cover normally goes, will a 2wd saff one fit or a 3 door one or are these a different colour?

They normally have a pocket there don't they ?, on 4wd, why not get one of those so it looks original, be useful to for storing things as well.

I've just changed the pocket on my saff for a black ecu cover. I just prefer the way they look

They do but they're about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe!!

Everytime anybody put anything in there, it just used to end up in their lap whenever I accelerated hard!

Put a 2wd ecu cover in there now as I prefer the look.

On my last sierra I lined it with rubber, this stops normal acceleration from battering your passengers with objects, but I know what you mean, I mostly had a 500ml bottle of water jammed in mine.

Most models had a stowage compartment, it was only models with certiain management that diden't (I think the DOHC may have as thats EEC) they later moved this on the facelift models and the compartment appeared again, I should think the dash is the same colour?
