Anyway - they arent actually that rare they are always coming up on fleabay and in my opinion they look completely wrong on the S2 - not in keeping with the 80's theme of the car at all - its a 90's looking wheel maybe Escort Cosworth etc

 

That was not a factory upgrade for the s2, just a general accessory for all RS cars. The correct RS option wheel was the 3 spoke like so...



IMO they are an awful wheel, I sold one for Ł10 once which was mint

I disagree, IMO they are rare, I've certainly seen less of them fitted to cars than 3 or 4 spoke wheels. I fit one to all my cars and think they are a fantasic wheel.

Got one on my RST and have a spare which will be going on the FakeCos.

 

I think they look great also, maybe the wheel isnt so rare but to find one brand new unused i think is and to peeps that gave them away look what ypu could of won lol

If you look into it they were probably manufactured after 1990 so never intended for the S2 at all.

I think they look great, proper RS item.

 

i have both 3 and 4 spoke versions of the rs options wheels and really like them,

 

that wheel is an rs motorsport wheel for the escort cosworth and sierra cosworth and fiesta can fit both types cars with the rite boss.

Confirms my point - its a 1990's wheel for a 90's car - in my opinion its wrong on an Escort that is 80's through and through.

Stick it on a MK5 yeah but not a Mk4.

All down to taste imo, makes me laugh people saying how horrible they are when i bet they've bought something for their car that someone else would say was in poor taste and looked awful!
