Hiya guys just after a bit of advice before i ask Andy here goes i have a 4x4 saff that normally peaks at 28psi and tails off up the rev range to 23psi only now it will only boost to 12-15psi? Ive inspected the turbo on the car and there are no blades missing from either end no smoke rattles or play, also i had as most cossies have alot of chatter (stall) and now nothing at all, i always run a d/v and took it off to see if it was leaking but no joy, checked hoses intercooler but no good any ideas guys im thinking actuator but can they just let go in an instant as mine seemed to?

 

take the actuator of and give the rod a good tug

if its soft then thats fucked

they should be nice and tight and hard to pull on

i would say its that

Turned out to be a split intercooler lol had it welded today so gona put it

all back on 2moz would do it tonight but the mrs would kill me
