Default 2wd diff on 4x4

Is it ok the use a 2wd rear diff on a 4x4?are they the same ratio

they are different ratio but so close you wouldnt notice i have 2wd rear on my 4x4

As said sure the 4wd is 3.64:1, the 2wd 3.62:1, might be the other way around, but you will not notice any difference it's so slight.
I'm sure the top rear mounting will need cutting down about 1/4" at each end as is wider on a 2wd.

Yea found that out last night when I went to fit the 4x4 diff, stage 3 beam is for 2wd!

Brettski you will just need to fit a spacer to the upper left mount point on the 4wd diff to fit in into a 2wd beam.

I can't remember if it a all the way through bolt, but if it is can use studding if you get stuck.
