looks like i have blown up my 2.1 zvh engine on my series 2, the oil system is presuirising and its blowing oil out the breather system shitter really only had the car 2 weeks think i got a lemon to be honest but anyway, i have done a compression test and i am down on compression on cylinder 2. i am going to tear the engine down this week and find out whats failed but whats confusing me is i dont know which head gasket to use to rebuild it, can you recomend me which to buy and where from please, i am new to the ford scene and am a bit unsure where to look.

preety sure burtons do a headgasket for the zvh mate

 

With it being a hybrid engine head gaskets are a little limited can't say as I have four many available. Burtons do a zvh head gasket felpro one or the other extreme is sitec do a custom
multiple layered head gasket but are dear and both mating faces need to be immaculate.

 

ordered the felpro and the headbolts from burtons, cheers guys

was great but on a std bore so?

 

The guy who rebuilt the car before I got it used totally the wrong head gasket and wrong head bolts, nice one
