MAD 500+ Engine conversion only done 4k since being built by Mark@MAD, the last owner only covered 8k in 10 years

Engine, Mad spec Engine,Long Studded,Ported head, MAD spec cam, This has just been back to Mark's for head Gasket due to it not being driven for 3 years, GT30/76 conversion also running Autronics SM4 Management, 1000cc injectors, 2 fuel pumps set-up

Also in the last month Peter from SPEC-R has supplied the following:
New Intercooler, header tank, breather, Pre Rad for turbo, Dump Valve, throttle bracket, power steering bottle and loads of painted refurbished parts

Pro alloy rad with fans

Also in had a new inlet hart manifold.

Also has a Fix-it gearbox, AP 330'S, 18" comps with 888 tyres, Leda coil overs, AP paddle clutch

This car has had a total fortune spent on it and the previous owner had spent £20k with MAD

the current mileage is 59k

GLWS Dave, shame to see it go but business has to come first and its a lot of money to have tied up in a car you dont actually need, especially when it then means you cant use your garage for storing work gear in either so its a liability twice over.

Sure it will sell before long mate. At that money it's bound to go cause it's cheap and a good spec. Just got to wait for the buyer, niche market isn't it.

 

As said over on the Escos forum Dave it's a fantastic price considering the spec i genuinely can't understand why it hasn't been snapped up.

If it does break which is a massive shame i'd be interested in the inlet manifold

carefull there matey, these manifolds come in different shapes/angles to specifically fit escos or 2wd sierra etc. may well not fit a 3dr bay if it was ment for an escort. sounds garbage but true.

dave shame you dont want another ford, a mate of mine wants an escos again, hes just finished a 3yr build of a moonstone blue mk2 escort x/pack , cosworth powered 380bhp spec and only done 52 miles since full nut and bolt resto and rebuild and its got 2.5k worth of image split rims....... wink wink lol

Price on engine with turbo and ecu. Wouldn't mind putting this engine in my 2wd car. No gearbox or clutch. Basically I would need all the bits to do a straight swop into my 2wd. Thanks

Rolling shell all panels and bumpers etc etc. No interior but including loom dash etc etc.
