Kind of new to this project stuff so if yous have any tips at all it would be much appreciated.

Started off a few years ago when i bought myself a MkV Escort XR3i, it gave me some grief but i just loved them! 2 years ago i had to get rid of it though due to rot


I always had the intention of getting another if it came along at the right time and when it happened 3 or 4 weeks ago i had to get it.



This is an unfinished project which i picked up for €725(£630 roughly) which seemed like a good deal to me.
Heres whats on it(This was all the work carried out by the guy i bought it from, wouldnt claim another mans good work)

ACER Bespoke front strut bar

Uprated clutch
ACER front subframe
ACER rear beam
Mk6 Escort RS2000 reconditioned Calipers
Uprated front brake pads
Cross drilled and grooved discs
RS2000 Shocks and Springs













Now i have it ive set about trying to get the paint work up with G3 to see what shape its in.
This shows how faded it was.

I like the performance part of the project ... it will not be just furious but fast too
€725 is cheap if the engine and the body are in good condition!

 

yeah seemed too good to pass up when i heard about it, dont know much about the performance parts but my mate was impressed by it
