does the saph cosworth and escort RST use the same alternator or are they different?

 

No they would probably be different fitment wise, but certainly in terms of power, if talking hi-spec models and so Cosworth they are Bosch 90A, some Granadas used the same item, RST would be around 55/70A at the most I should think.

The 3DR is 70A.

The 70 amp one is the same as a lot fitted to fords 1.8 diesel engine, and the xr4i.
