hi, right , my problem is that the ring gear on my flywheel has worn to the point of the starter not engaging the flywheel, so what i would like to know is that , what flywheel could i use as i cant source a rs one. Obvously its 220 mm plate . Also just to say its the 1.9 american turbo block but still thinking the crank is standard .

Why not just get new ring gear fitted ?

Any 1.6 cvh flywheel will fit (providing it's the same diameter of course)

 

heat it up and knock it off, then replace with another one.
