hello people, i have an escort coworth & it drives ok in a straight line but when steering is turned more then 1/2 way it doesnt like it at all
i thought it was a steering rqack issue at 1st but the rack all looks ok (but the tracking is out by eye)
the tracking is being done 2morra so all maybe resoloved
but....
my other thought was has the front diff locked up???? as this would do the same
i jacked 1 front wheel off the floor & it cant be turned by hand??????
is that normal???????
but when jacked whole side up the front wheel can be turned & it rotates at same pace as rear wheel??????
is this normal???
ive never checked on a 4wd before so unsure how it works????
with that the front diff cant have locked up as i wouldnt be able to turn the front wheel at all unless they were both off the floor.
can anyone confirm this is ok??
as stated b4 it may just be tracking out but best to be perpared just incase it isnt
