Hi there lads just a qwick one iv got on order a full rollcage for my focus cosworth and im having harness barrs in it . but wot i need to no befor i order any harnesses do i need a special type as from some of the ones iv seen fitted to rollcages they look like they rap the harness round the tube and not clipped into eye bolt can any one put any light on this for me please

 

yes you need the wrap around fixing, and i just happen to be selling a pair of basically brand new 3" 5-point willans harness' in blue.

oh and a pair of cobra suzka bucket seats

You just buy harnesses and take off the end clips and wrap the strap around the bar as above. No special purchase required.

 

you can buy the shortened ones or just buy normal ones as above.

 

It's not as simple as that, some harnesses come with the end sewn around a metal fixing. You can cut off the mounting bracket but that only works if you have a removeable bar to mount it to like a strut brace. Otherwise you need to be able to fully undo the harness from any brackets/fixings.
