Default Sierra Cosworth 2wd - new pictures, new spec, new price

Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth, 2WD
Moonstone blue, bodywork in very good condition, it had a full re-spray apart from the roof last year.

Engine Spec:
The engine has been rebuilt with 4x4 pistons 4000 miles ago so nice and quiet.
Group A headgasket
Stage 3 running greens and a t34 turbo
Rs 500 cooler
Samco boost hoses
Bailey oil breather
Bailey water header tank
Mongoose exhaust
AP 6 Paddle clutch
Group A air filter

Exterior:
Rs sevens, softspokes
Gaz coilovers
Polybushed all round
It has just had new rear discs and pads
Just fitted new front indicators, new number plates, new door strips and new window rubbers to make it tidy as you can see in the pictures!

Interior:
Good leather trim
Boost and oil pressure gauges
Cd player
Remote central locking and immobiliser
Top tint windscreen

Overall, the car drives very well and has not let me down. It starts every time, engine has no rattles knocks etc.. Pulls strong as to be expected from a stage 3 cosworth! This is an excellent example of a classic RS..

£6500

Please call me with any further questions as i have limited access to the internet at the moment: 07703742739

I was actually interested in this but my brain just would not allow me to pay 2k more for the same car with a few bits done to it and a polish....

YOu would have been better off not advertising until it was all done.

There's no denying you've got yourself a nice car there fella & to be fair worth a lot more then your original price. The problem is if you had previously seen the car at the lower price you would not want to pay a lot more for the car even if it was worth it. I'm sure you would feel exactly the same if you were a potential buyer. Just to confirm I'm not slating you or you car in anyway, just stating a fact. Good luck with the sale.

I do understand mate and you have voiced your opinion well without smart arse comments!

I just dont see why the people above who obviously arent interested in buying the car and dont know of the ammount of work the car has had in the past week have to post clever comments, Im sure I dont pay goldmember fees to have my for sale post attacked either!

exactly

good luck tho as you will need it now more on here to sell that car

edit to add - i was interested before the price hike but not now. You should have waited for all the work to be done then advertised it.

To be honest, the majority of comments to the first time it was advertised were how it was a cheap car. So the car was underpriced needing a few bits doing.

Then guy clearly stated at a later date he would be doing some work to it and update the pictures and price.

You can really only judge the car on what it is now and if it is worth the asking price. Not like he is trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes. If it aint worth the £6.5k then it wont sell, if it is it will.

Personally I would have removed this thread and started a fresh one.

Good luck with the sale mate, may be worth having this thread cleaned up or removed to host a new one so that there is no confusion for viewers.

It's all getting a bit handbags around here.

Personally I think it's nice, and looking around the price doesn't seem that high, especially if you managed to knock a few quid off when viewing it
