Hi there all
Basically folks I have changed the standard L6 ecu on my 2wd saph to a L8 ecu as many of you cossie owners have done before, but what I was wondering was, is the 'guts' of a L8 transferable to a L6 case and if any of you have done this already from experiance how difficult of a job is it.
Cheers

The main reason for doing this is so the ecu would still bolt securely into place as standard as at the mo it is wedged in with a bit of rubber to stop it moving about.
Cossiedad no sorry mate the L6 was faulty thats why when looking for a replacement was recommended to change a L8 instead.
Jon@work does this mean you have done this? if so is it difficult is it simply unsrew it and screw into old case or more fiddly than that?

It's just a few screws and IIRC 7 spring clips to undo, but you've also got to drill and tap the mounting holes in the L6 case for the baby board.
