yes done a few little ones.

CAIS and Full Exhaust mostly, Been trying to buy an airtec gen 3 for 2 weeks but they have been out of stock.

As soon as ive got that its off to Jamsport for RS injectors and Custom Remap.

 

heres a little Vid of its 20-60 in second gear. Will get another after the remap is done.

Cant wait to get mine a bit quicker... Remap should sort that for the first stage but intercooler situation is doing my head in.

no they are not they are a budget make... Was on the car when i bought it, Although will need renewal very soon me thinks.

I agree about it being far too high, Im so glad i got it standard as i can update as i do it...

Dont know weather to get eibachs or go with a full kit of some sort. Problem I have is it looks like to get the right cooler for the job is going to cost me just short of £500!

 

There was a load of gen II coolers for the ST on ebay, few quid mopre than airtech prices but they were gen Airteck units though.

 

I can get Gen 3 at the end of the week. Problem is I am worried about paying out £270 for the Gen 3 now with what I want to achieve in the end.

If I buy Gen 3 and don't make the numbers when the RS turbo is fitted eventually then I will be gutted as I will need to upgrade.

On the other hand I could then sell the Gen 3 and upgrade anyway!

I just don't know!!!! Driving me mad which is why I am thinking to just go for the best first time...

 

Ah so you will be changing turbos? Imo I think you might as well get the best cooler for the job to save pissing about at a later date and losing money by shifting it second hand.

Or by it now, change it later and sell it cheap to me when you do!!!!!!!

yes carlos I am going to be going for Hybrid Focus MK2 Rs Turbo, theres a guy with one fitted that just made 382BHP problem is he had 550cc injectors so I may have to talk to jamsport about possibly upgrading my order!

Or having set of RS injectors for sale in a few months time.

i am having a month off from buying anything for mine after the shitting thing cost me a 1k in 6 weeks. Might buy something for the Mrs instead.


Whats the limit for the RS injectors then?

 

So with these RS injectors, what would happen to my dreamscience map? Would it be binned off in favour of a new map, or would the dreamscience map just be tweaked a bit?

In other words what I am saying is, would my dreamscience mapping unit thing be then useless

 

dreamscience dont do a map for RS injectors yet...

Would have to be custom map, Which would surely be better for you anyway. Just sell your dreamscience unit.

Problem is as said before MOD X/Mod C uses standard injectors at nearly full capacity which is dangerous.

Cheers for that, so when you get yours done, will your car have an 'off the shelf' map to suit RS injectors, or will you have it mapped properly?

I'm running Race+ on mine, not had any issues.... yet

 

no mate it will be custom mapped by JamSport. Im sure the dreamscience will be fine I just don't trust it personally.

Im so annoyed that it didn't get done yesterday, just want to see how different it would be!

 

Haha yes i bet! How much roughly is it costing for the injectors and a set up?

 

£599 It was a deal they had on at the time which is why I paid my deposit early...

I think injectors alone are around £200-£300
