Clutch Fork Pivot Bracket-Lightened flywheel
First one is clutch for pivot bracket.
I got the pin but there is no bracket.
Were would i find a bracket for the T5 bellhousing.
Probly a comman request.
I really could do with 3.
2nd one is i just bought a lightened flywheel for a sierra cosworth.
It looks great with long bolts welded to it.
The question is can i just bolt it on and use it ,as my engine builder is concerned about having the crank balanced to the flywheel?
Are there any concerns i need to no about.
also another lad said about the engine idle being affected but surely this should rev things up a bit not cause stalling.
Please advize.

By pin do you mean the "pad" the end of the arm rests against and pivots on ?, if so no longer available from ford, I fabricated one out of delrin for my own T5, when I did my own hydraulic conversion which is well worth doing whilst it's apart.
As for the flywheel, I'm confused about with "long bolts welded to it", if you as I assume are referring to the normal through bolts in the centre I can't see how you're going to attach the 9 bolts to the crank.
As for being balanced as one with the crank don't worry, although ideal so long as it is balanced on it's own that is fine, not all engines are apart, and millions of flywheels are balanced/re-balanced without them being as one unit with the rest of the engine with no problem.
The flywheel does have the ability to affect the idle quality, this is mostly dependant on how well the mapping is done how light the flywheel is, but most importantly what cams you are using ?, if using std cams don't even worry about it, there was a thread on here about lightened flywheels asking for views/experience well worth a read I've used them for the best part of 30 years, and didn't regret a single time doing it.

The pivot bracket was Ł4 from ford.
I learnt something there ,just thought they would only supply a gearbox.
I will start useing them again.
Brilliant news on the flywheel thanx.

If you managed to get one, as opposed to ordering one(to be told next week that they are NLA) you're a lucky person, most dealers don't have any stock left, I ordered three and didn't get any.

Yep you were right went in today and told non in stock.
Mid week told yep can order some.
The flyweel thing was a wild goose chase it ended up some sort of bda flywheel holder.

Consider the age of the gearbox, other versions used different pads as they are called, very unlikely anyone will make these, not enough market to make tooling/sales cost effective.
Any ford dealer in the country can order them, what they can't get is delivery of the item!!
You can make a pad out of delrin etc if you really want to, or go concentric hydraulic, not with the cheapy/nasty slave cylinder burtons use but a fully metal one, from the usa about Ł160 all in but STEEL.

I have a pin and a hole in the bellousing but no real idea of what it all looks like.
Has anyone a pick of there bellhousing with the pivot bracket.
Anything as this is going to hold my build up after next week.
