Lightbulb Trouble putting vibra-technic mounts on.

Yesterday I tried replacing my Nakard Gearbox mounts with some Vibra-technic ones. I put them on and now when i start the car I can really feel the engine in the car, its as though the engine has no movement at all. I know these mounts are harder but surely not this hard? Is it even possible to put them on wrong?

These are the mounts in question:

Yup that's about right, they are horrible things. A lot of people on the STOC bought them then soon took them off lol

nah you wont damage anything. i've ran them for over 2 years now. i think you were just used to having shit ones on! lol. They are abit harsh but i love mine. They instantly make you feel more connected to the car, they are a performance upgrade dont forget

if you can't live with them the escort diesel ones are supposed to be harder, but i dont know personally. Good luck finding a set though, they are getting rare too.

Joe.

True, I dont mind the movement I was just worried id brake something lol. I cant even rock the engine in the bay where before it would move easily.

some people just use the front one as this is common for breaking and leave the rear one standard
