are 2wd and 4x4 inner tca bushes the same?i remember a few years back trying to fit xr4x4 inner bushes to standard 2wd tca's,neither were cosworth tcas,in fact maybe the bushes were from a cosworth and not a cooking model which i was trying to fit them to.

Yes they are the same, they have a 12mm diameter bolt as opposed to the 10mm of the std sierra.

they are all interchangable

if you have the 12mm fitment though you need to make a 12mm hole in the crossmember for the bolt to fit, the bushes will fit all of the arms

the bushes i had which i was trying to fit into the normal sierra tcas were never going to fit, they fitted back into the cossie tcas no problem.the hole in the tca was too small for the cossie bushes.

this months?dunno,i broke it over a year ago,it got rebuilt but i heard 2 storys,1 it got broken up again and another that it went to ireland.im building a better 1 just now, crystal blue but that wont be ready for a while.the 4x4 cossie bushes definately didnt go into the standard 2wd tcas,i tried everything,a vice, press etc, they just popped out,if you could get 1 in the the sleeve wouldnt go in,if you tried putting it all in at once the bush wouldnt go in,put it back in the cossie tca and it would go in no probs by hand.
r.e new post,go to the section you want to post in and at the top click on the .new thread' bit.

That might be stucos's car, think his reg was similar.his car was Flint grey though.the 1 I'm doing now will never be broken,if I ever get it finished, the body spec keeps changing,my latest thing is zinc plating, got almost every nut and bracket in a box ready to be sent off to be done and the steering wheel recovered at the same place!
