Default tailgate enquiry

hi there im new to this site and just finding me feet , i brought a s2 rs 7 months ago and am racking me brains out trying to find a non rotted tailgate , im finding it very hard to find one , ive tryed all rs breakers , egay , ive been looking for 7 months and aint found the right one .
please can anyone point me in the right direction or anyone know whos selling one that aint rotted !!

i got one for sale on ebay mate.
its absolutely solid mate,not a bit of rust or anything.
few scratches on it from storage,but youll do well to find a more solid one anywhere

I'm in the same boat as mine has rotted in 3 places. Going to get the sheet metal and welder out another day as I haven't found a mint one either.

i reckon its summat to do with the spoiler as every RS/XR one i see is rotten but the one on my Bonus is super mint along with a lot of the other base model/non spoiler ones i've seen.

Might be worth looking for one of these instead mate?

If it was a 90 spec tailgate I would of taken it off your hands mate and it only would of been a 30min drive for me.

there the same apart from spolier mate
wouldnt let a spolier stop you from buying a solid tailgate
cant believe nobodys bought this from me yet

buy a tailgate from a base model, the only difference is 5 holes
