Hey guys, decided to put rs back up for sale again as Im in need of money. Will gut me to let it go but needs must. Ive spent 3 grand in 6 months on it. This car is not mint but is a very good example after the couple bits are sorted out.

Main problems with car so you dont need to read on if it not your style. Needs battery tray (got one here for next owner), needs rear arch seen to as has rotted away a tiny little bit, and has a misfire but think it a sticky tappet as has just had new cam put in. Now for spec.

Car was running 172 at wheels last time rolling roaded unfortunately dont have print out but AVA should be able to give you a update on car as with the rebuild car had as oil pressure was low and headgasket had gone. After getting car back the cam they had put in with stage 3 head worn out a lobe so I took head off and fitted a kent cvh36 kit. Also now has front mount aswell and brand new original ford radiator with brand new spal fans.

Spec is stage 3 head with uprated valve springs and kent 36 kit, bigger valves, ported and polished, vernier pulley, over bored .5 mahle low comp pistons, brand new ford oil pump, new cam belt etc. Stage 2 hybrid turbo from turbo technics, 88 degree themostat, baileys dump valve & oil seperator, full samco hose set (water & boost hoses), K&n air filter with shield, frount mount intercooler, mongoose exhaust, lsd gearbox with brand new clutch, chipped ecu (both), probably missed some so feel free to ask.

Only exterior mod is clear indicators. Inside it has 3 gauge pod in heater vent, boost, oil pressure and oil temp, the pressure and temp need made to work but are wired up. Has 4 spoke rs wheel needs re covered, Great condition recaros and interior could do with a clean though.

Car sits on spax 40mm springs and koni top adjustables, handles great. Has front strut brace. Has few cosmetics such as painted rocker cover and chrome heat shield, chrome sill covers.

Car currently has no mot but had checked over and I replaced bottom arms as these were shot and that was all that was wrong. Tax till end of month but will obviously need trailered away.

tbh mate ive not got time or money to put on it anymore as said in ad ive spent 3 grand on her lately getting her up to shape, always like my car spot on no expense spared. Also the sciatica isnt allowing me to go check where misfire coming from etc so deserves someone who will get enjoyment from her.

Gutted for you m8, mine is going up for sale soon as got arthritis in elbows and got problems with both arms and driving a car without power steering is very hard, looking at 3.2 vectra gsi's and audi a3 1.8t quattro

updated pics, also meant to add that car has grooved and drilled disks with green stuff pads. Also have rear bench as one in car has a small fag burn from previous owner as I dont smoke.

 

so it runs, but has a missfire? Any chance of a video?

Are there receipts for the AVA work? and when was this done? Receipt for the clutch too?

Also, any rot or dents elsewhere on the bodywork?

 

no reciepts yet have asked them though, guy on here works for them he may able to shed some light on it. They also put the clutch in when rebuilt. I will try get a vid but may be saturday before I get the chance but have someone coming to see it tomorrow, so if goes will update here. It has a couple of marks on rear bumper and couple of dints on drivers door, nothing major but rather be honest as possible, also a small outwards dint on bonnet from where previous owner must have shut with something still under there

 

if no one interested in next week or so will strip so if you need anything you can give me a shout.

 

If you do strip it mate i will def be interested in cooler/fans but i hope it doesn't come to that as i hope you sell it as a whole car

 

Shame to break it fella. It looks like a clean car that just needs a bit of tlc.

 

really dont want to break to many are being stripped these days esp when it aint rotten but needs must I suppose, had someone coming for it but his mate let him down with transport unfortunately.
