I have a small turbo (1995) Esc Cos,and the speedo dial does not light up.
All the other dials are fine. Are they lit by bulbs or a glowing string?
is it an easy repair, what are my options?

They are basically made up from electroluminescent paper that glows when an electric charge is put through it
I reckon if only the speedo is not lighting up, then it sounds like a broken connection....if you are luckily you could repair it.
I know of a set of clocks for sale if you can't fix it!

 

Can you recommend anybody that would be able to take on a job like this.

The speedo assembly is not hard to remove Tel.

there is no bulbs its just the electro paper

 

Take the cover off so you can touch the speedo dial and at the top right there is a tiny button that you can push till you hear a click if the light doesnt come on then its a broken connection Id say.
