Hi all not sure if i can post this here but i was up the loft today and came across my old Tonka toy
then i had the sudden idea that i want to restore it. so...
here it is

the wheels need a bit of restoring aswell

to start off i took the cement drum and supports off








so as you can see its in a pretty bad state at the minute lol but when im done it should look pretty good.
the reason im restoring it is it was passed down through the family from new and when im older ill give it to my kids and hopefully they'll do the same

What colour is it going mate?

 

its going the origional tonka yellow with a white mixer and black bumpers and details

 

little update:
made new stickers on paint not too bad could do with some tweeking but they'll look smart when there done
