puma 1.7 vvt cam belt missalignement

I have just replaced cam belt and tensioner, along with a new crankshaft gear and pulley, but as before the cam belt is running on its very outer edge. Any help please.

Have you checked the pulleys are fitted properly? Can you actually see any misalignment of the pulleys?

That is normal on 1.7 pumas. They all sit on te very outter edge of th cam pulleys.
