Default Replacing rear brake calipers

ive got a nsr brake caliper to change on my 4x4 saff cossie. Are they just like changing a normal caliper on the back of cars. Ive got all the tools and also have a good piston wind back tool. I take it you just clamp off the flexy pipe, remove the pipe, take the adjustment off the handbrake cable and undo the 2 bolts. Then when fitting i take it you just pump the pedal till the fluid come out. The reason im asking cause im sure i read somewhere that these can be a bit of a chew on to do. Thanks for your help and comments.

bleeding the rears mate just turn the ignition on(no need to start the engine) and press the pedal and the abs pump does all the work for you.
when changing the caliper do not move the hand brake lever until you have bleed the caliper and pumped the piston out with the pads fitted as it can upset the hand brake adjusting mechanism and the hand brake will be crap.

Did mine a couple of years ago and don't remember it being too difficult. You need to get under the car to slacken off the handbrake cable adjuster so you have enough play to unhook the cable from the arm on the caliper.

Good luck.

Or right bonus thanks for that.Ive had a center console that i have wanted to fit for ages so i thought since i need to take the handbrake adjustment off to do the caliper and its easier to get the center console out.I might as well do them both at the same time lol.
