Default Teesside - my white xr4i

Few pics from the day that i was sent, well chuffed with my first go at drifting in left hand drive first time ive used this car since i bought it too

Was going well with the 2.8 in there until both engine mounts shit themselves , the next drift day is 14th march at teesside if anyone is up for it would be awsome to get few more fords out there...

New hockey pucks are in mail for homemade engine mounts, once the engine goes tho...thats when ill stick my 24v engine in there, then eventually a sr20det from a 200sx

cheers mate, it started getting bogged down when track started drying but meant it was higher speed into first corner which was a buzz...hit 103kph on my speedo into first corner, but id guess 50mph due to it being a old sierra lol...

Like i said it was my first time drifting left hand drive and first time ive ever used this car since i bought it so i was just getting a feel for it...once i blow it up im thinking 24v powers out of my black xr4i.

Next drift day is march 14th so ill see you all there

great car mate, I just want to build something exactly like that for every day use, (white, cossie looks and no biplane spoiler) looks great, question, is the cossie body kit (bumper, skirts and wheel arches) a replica? if so where did you get it? thanks and congratulations...

Nice looking car, did cringe when your bumper was flailing about on track

Have you got a hydro? Just that I did notice you were doing some very abrupt violent entries/spins in the big corner! Sure with more visits though you'll be nailing it

Hey ade,

Well the bumper incident!... thats when i handed my keys over to my dad for a few laps.. notice he didnt get another go after i put it back on lol..

as for hydro, yes i do have one but its in the boot lol not plumbed in yet, and i didnt think my handbrake worked at all but when i first yanked at it, it locked up mint!...but i found it hard to let go with the button in the left hand drive so i put a self tapper screw down the ratchet button and eventually started linking first and second corner with a dab of wand ... im doing march 14th and my plan is to get used to the wand more and connecting the first and second corner properly....abit more speed aswell hopefully
