Default siemen 72lb / 83lb

Are these injectors much bigger than greys ?

thinking about changing injectors to one of the above, would my standard head / cams be restrictive at this stage ?

either that on run abit more boost on the greys

spec is

low milage 200 block
fresh head

72ib = 756cc/min @ 3 bar,

83ib = 870cc/min @ 3 bar,

Grey (403) = 503cc/min @ 3.5 bar.

the 83lbs are rated to 550/600bhp so would be the best option

I've gone for the 83Ib this time as the 55Ib were useless really but they're even better than 403's

Go 83's then you won't need to change again

The only thing with going bigger is it is harder to get the fueling correct. Especially say at idle, not much injector duration change can make your fueling go WAY out

Only applicable if you're on std management I suppose and can't get someone to map it properly

Mine runs greys, idle is 100% perfect as is whole running, can do 40mpg, mot pass was easy at 0.97% CO 137ppm, with 200K miles on the engine, T34, modded head etc, NO CLOSED LOOP gimmick in sight, even though my ecu does it, as well as adaptive, I run purely mapped.
Cold idle is perfect, even though my ISCV does not work at all.
There's nothing wrong with siemens , but if the greys flow enough for what you want, why spend money on different injectors, buy other bits instead.

i'd say it needs live mapping by someone that can map greys. give tony mannock a ring he's quiet good at mapping greys.

Depends on which ECU u have id say, if l6 i would not go much bigger than the 55s if u want it to run mint straight through. Ask your mapper on which brand he prefers, i was adviced Siemens by mine and it runs like a dream.
