whats the best alloy rad as you hear of alot leaking etc

I have never heard of some leaking tbh, i have a Pro Alloy one my best mates got a Pace one. Both have been spot on cant complain.

Ive had a Pro alloy one and a Airtec atm, never had any trouble with leaking rads.

ive had 2 pace and theyve both shit themselves on idle one of which was a couple of hours ago

Everything I've had manufactured by Pace has turned out to be utter crap IMO.
My Radtec intercooler was spot on for me though!!

Mine had a huge BEHR alloy radiator in it, I suspect its maybe from a touring car ?

ive got pace on mine and although probably 5 or more years old is still like new and works fine.. although as said its is no better than the std one i had before as i only changed it for the looks..

Depends what your definition of best is, air tec are bloody heavy gauge stuff but strong and do the job perfectly, probably the best vfm one as well.
Only had one leak and that was an original, so had done very well for how old it was.

Could be as i'm pretty sure BEHR made the Original RS500 intercoolers?

Funny you say that Steve i ran mine on a standard rad and it held perfectly fine in fact it never gave me cause for concern in any summer weather - i run a turbo cooler on mine which made a big difference and only uprated due to going to a GT turbo.

Steve how much did it cost to have the rad recored?.I ask because my rad looks in very good condition but it has sprung a leak and I dont know if to have it recored or get an alloy one

i have a pro alloy and water temp is never above 75* on the road and sits at 90* on track all afternoon. works well

i had a std rad in my moonstoner and will have a std rad in the white 3dr - never had any issues so agree with the above
