I just fell really lucky and got one for £50 with a small fault with the screen. But for a fully functional one expect to pay upto £200

I cannot for the life of me get the pins out of the plug, as I look at the hole where the ecu connector goes into the terminal there is a small cut out. Do I need to put something in there to release the terminal or am I doing it wrong???????

Just tap into the wiring further up in the plug, thats what i did, just cut soldered and shrink wrapped, saves pulling the pins out.

Won't that affect the readings that the ecu gets? Because the signal from the engine sensors will be going to the gauge first?

No mine works perfectly fine, i think the speed of the signal is far to fast for what you've said to happen, i tapped into the wirirng about 5 - 6cm's away from the pins.

That sounds a lot easier. I thought it was measuring a resistance it would affect the reading that the ecu was getting
