I have been getting so bored of the cod series lately ive been trying to find alternative shooters to pass the time.

I bought bad company2 but that has to be the most frustrating/infuriating online game on the planet, i spent one game parachuting into the map only to be killed before hitting the ground everytime
Also got MAG (£9.99 from game) which is pretty good (online only), slightly slower gameplay and rank up than the cod series but no connection issues whatsoever and no cheats or hacks to be seen.

Are there any other alternative games that you have tried and can recomend?

 

Buy a PC?

By far the biggest range of shoooting games, and you can play various custom maps and mods for free rather than the rip off DLC console packs.


You could try fallout new vegas its an FPS/RPG but will get you hours of play (offline)


Im not sure what to suggest because everyone goes for CoD and its one of the most average shooters ive played, but hey i must be wrong because so many people play it, its not like there were 1000 games before it that were identical. (4 player split screen with mates is good though)
