Help needed with fitting a Sump plug adapter

Default Help needed with fitting a Sump plug adapter

gonna be fitting my oil temp sensor tomorrow after finishing the rear suspension, i have a oil temp sensor and the sump plug adapter, but it doesnt go in all the way, and the picture shows the sensor not screwed in all the way, is this ok? surly as long as its tight it should be ok?

most sensors are a tapered thread, so they dont screw in all the way, some ptfe tape should also be used on the threads, cheers nomad

where did you get the kit to fit senser as thats wot i am doing very soon

burton power, go online and enter LMA065 as the code, costs about 3quid

Gra - is that code for the adapter, as I have a oil temp gauge from Autometer but I have not connected as I did not want to drill into the sump.

Does this adapter fit in place of the sump plug

yep go to burtons website and enter that code, (may need a space between letters and numbes )
