Default dirt seals...ap brakes

my calipers has no dirt seals for the pistons....

is that a problem on a everyday driven car.....

You will need to regularly strip and clean calipers..... the dust seals are there to protect the pistons from crap... without them they can get damaged

yes its a problem will need to be overhauled regularly to keep in full working order

why get smaller pistons? the seals only go over the top of the piston which stick out from the caliper

Wim, mine say this on them because they have no dust seals. I think you know me well enough to know that I am not under the car servicing them every weekend as well

Don't worry mate... If I had a dust seal sitting right in front and it was labelled 'Dust seal' I still wouldn't know what it was

as long as you brake clean (fluid)and re copper grease around the piston then you will not have any problems
when you come to change pads clean all crap and deposits of the pistons before you push them back into caliper
then re copper grease and put pads in
